Six full days of adventure in the Alps, northern Italy. Rafting the Dora River at the foot of Mons Blanc, climbing to an impressive 2,500-meter summit, a bike ride along the valley, a challenging European-style Via Prata route, exposure and tackling rock climbing and a host of adventures are all interwoven into a sweet boutique holiday with excellent hotels, shopping, beer, good food and fine wine.
Day 1: Tel Aviv — Milan
Regular flight from TA to Milan and a two-hour transfer north, including a refreshment stop en route. Later the shuttle will bring you to our hotel above the picturesque town of Valtornace. After settling in a hotel and a short rest, we will go for a walk in the area of the town to extract bones and get to know our house for the coming week. The route passes along the river, crosses 2 beautiful wooden bridges and reaches an impressive ravine, inside which flows a mighty waterfall. A short walk will take us back to the hotel, to showers, a short rest and dinner in the hotel's excellent restaurant.
Day 2: Shanyi - Chima Bianca - Lago Bello - Chervinia
After breakfast, we pop into the small village of Shanyi. In the first part of the day we will climb a narrow and gentle path through the forest, we will go beyond the tree line, to an amazing saddle watching over the Mathorn. We will continue along the famous 107, at the foot of the impressive peak Chima Bianca and glide to one of the pearls of the valley - Lago Bello - charming! From there the road is short to the famous ski town of Cervinia, we will close the day in the pedestrian area of the town and drive back to the hotel.
Day 3: Rafting!
After breakfast, we pop into the west side of the ridge, at the foot of Mons Blanc, near the pretty town of Courmayeur, which is a stop on the route around Mont Blanc. In the first half of the day we will embark on an experiential rafting adventure on the Dora River, which drains the slopes of Mon Blanc, the most impressive and famous peak in Europe, which is also seen throughout the rafting. After the rafting, we will travel to the old town of the valley's capital, Aosta, with the beautiful pedestrian promenade of the old town, some free time of loitering, beer, pizza and shopping.
Day 4: Electric Bike Trip
Today we will go on a bike trip, on an electric off-road bike. The route will pass through the landscape paths that cross the valley along its length, including the landscape route called Belconda. We will reach high, outside the forest line and meet a stunning alpine landscape, at the foot of the Matterhorn. The length of the track and its intensity, will be adjusted during the ride according to the team's capabilities, weather and terrain conditions.
Day 5: Climbing in nature
Nature climbing day. Opportunity for exposure to challenging sports, mentally and physically visiting a friendly cliff in a stunning corner of nature. Stunning location favorite of local climbers. The place is excellent for learning the principles of climbing and safety. An experiential and special day. At the end of the day we will stop by to visit the town of St. Vincent.
Day 6: Via Prata and returning home
We will leave in the morning for the town of Valtorancha. We will enter the forest and qualify on a slightly steep, but short path to the challenging Via Prata route, which is done with special equipment. Via Prata is a kind of “vertical trek” during which we are faced with a steep route and exposure to altitude, secured along the entire route with special, dedicated equipment, and everything necessary for safe conduct. Safe and super beautiful route. At the end of the day, return to the hotel to organize and rest for the return home.
