A company for extreme trips and adventures around the world, which has been operating for about two decades. Established by Yoram Chen; cyclist, mountaineer, hiker and adventurer. He grew up and guided in cruiser circles when he was a teenager and after years of wandering on foot came to rest and homestead — a two-wheeled vessel without an engine, but with a lot of soul. Yoram, one of the leading mountain bike instructors in Israel, graduated from a guide course in Wingate, a cliff surfing instructor (rappelling), a graduate of the international tour guide course of the School of Tourism and has a Tour Manager certificate. Founded the Orange Site Bike Tours Forum and ran it voluntarily for several years. For 8 years he wrote the “Trip of the Month” section in Bicycle Magazine, where he shared his routes and adventures, in 2005 he founded the company “Butch” together with partners and after a few years left and continued to operate in the framework of a small boutique company that organizes and operates a variety of different excursions, cycling and trekking, rappelling and mountaineering around the world. Married and father of three, lives on a covered farm in Carmel.
Over the years, we have carried out equestrian expeditions to exotic destinations in different parts of the world, including a rider expedition to the Himalayas, India and Nepal, we have opened Georgia and Romania to the Israeli public. We led a group of riders on an amazing and challenging journey, the first of its kind, to the Volcanoes Avenue in Ecuador, every year we embark on a singles bike tour in Nepal, hiking in the High Atlas in Morocco, riding and trekking in Kyrgyzstan and Macedonia, riding holidays in the Carpathians in Romania, the Alps in Italy, Trodos in Cyprus and more. Yoram has been organizing and leading for close to a decade a large and special group - “With Other Eyes”, whose members are blind, on extreme depth journeys in different places of the world and so far the group has conquered mountains in various destinations in the world; Georgia, Jordan, Romania, Italy, Morocco, Macedonia, Cyprus and Kyrgyzstan. Among other destinations, Yoram and the team opened many cycling destinations, in Israel and abroad on routes that have become an asset to the Israeli public. In 2011, Yoram was selected by Bicycle Magazine as one of the people who had the most influence on the bicycle industry, due to his contribution to the field of cycling in Israel and around the world.
