Iguasturtes. One of the most beautiful nature reserves in the world. The reserve, the largest in Catalonia Spain, is one of the most meticulous places in Europe, in terms of nature conservation. FORESTS, RIVERS, ALPINE LAKES, ENDLESS MEADOWS AND SNOWY PEAKS. We embark on a 6-day trek on a route that passes through two different areas of the National Park of Catalonia. Let's meet nature in full force!
Day 1: Taking off for Barcelona
We meet in the morning at the airport in Barcelona (the El Al flight lands there in the morning), put on a transfer and set off. A short drive will take us to the Montserrat ridge - one of the most beautiful and special ridges in Catalonia, where we will embark on a 9 km route, in the “Needles” area - one of the most beautiful areas in Montserrat. At the end of the walk we will go to the town of Surt, about two hours away, for dinner and there is also Nalon there.
Day 2: Aguasturtes
After breakfast we will take a short drive towards the village of Espot. And enter the Aiguastortes National Park, which means “winding water” in Catalan, which refers to the water that meanders in every direction in the territory of the reserve. From there we will hop in SUVs to Lake Sant Mauricio from where we will start with a walk of about 10 km through the Ratera Falls, two beautiful waterfalls that flow into Lake Mauricio. From there we will continue the climb north until a beautiful lake surrounded by granite cliffs - Lake Retra. Our route passes through a beautiful forest, rich in waterfalls, streams and spectacular views of the 3,000 meter alpine peaks that surround the park. At the end of the day, dinner and accommodation in the town of Sort.
Day 3: Rafting and more
After breakfast, we will embark on an extreme experience of Grade 3 rafting, in view of 14 km on the Nugra Paisera River. At the conclusion of the rafting, lunch by the river and back to the town of Surt. On the way, in the second half of the day, a beautiful and calm walk to an impressive shrapnel waterfall is made. From it we will proceed to dinner and hotel accommodation.
Day 4: Alpine Lakes of the Jardar Valley
After breakfast, we will pack our bags and take a short drive towards the Bonahigwe mountain pass, from where we will embark on an amazing hiking trail in the beautiful glacial valley of Schljardar. We will pass several alpine lakes, of different sizes, pass above the tree line and observe on peaks that kiss to 3000 meters above sea level. At the end of the route a short drive to Vía - the capital of the Arran Valley and Lina Boea.
Y.DAY 5: BASIBERI VALLEY
Today we will set out to explore the Basilibri Valley, which received its name thanks to 3 of the highest Siberian peaks in the region, the height of which rises above 3000 meters. The route amazes with its beauty and is challenging, passing through a forest of fir trees, numerous waterfalls and breathtaking alpine lakes. At the end of the route, a short drive will bring us to our hotel in Vía.
Day 6: Last day!
We have a full day ahead! Once we have packed our bags, we will set off on a drive towards Barcelona. After a drive of about an hour and a half, we will reach the famous Canyon Nature Reserve in Monterbay. We will take a walk on the banks of Canheys Lake and pass inside the Montrebay Canyon. The canyon was formed by the flow of the river Nugra Ribagorsena and formed a narrow water passage with a width of only 20 meters. The walking route was carved into the mountain and allows a spectacular view of the area, turquoise lakes, the peaks of the Perineans and the rock cliffs that rise to a height of 500 meters above us - an impressive place!. At Sim today we will continue to the airport on an evening flight to Israel.
Cost of the trip: 1,350 euros

· Full economy with half board in the accommodation, breakfast and dinner and picnic every day of the trip.

· The trip plan is based on picking up on the first day of the trip and dispersing on the last day, at Barcelona airport.
