Welcome to join us on an extraordinary journey along the Volcanoes Avenue of Ecuador, one of the most beautiful, pleasant and surprising countries in South America. Experience forests and jungles, snowy volcanoes, beautiful peaks, water, varied treks and adrenaline-filled adventures.
Day 1: Arrival in Ecuador
We will depart from TA on a regular flight with a stopover. Landing in Quito, where we will meet the team that will accompany us in the coming days. From there we will go on a trip to our hotel, to organize, rest and stay after the long trip.
Day 2: First summit over the capital Quito
After breakfast, we will embark on a day of climbing to the high peak above the city of Quito. During the route we will be able to enjoy a spectacular view of the entire city and the wild landscape of the Andes and the peaks and lanterns that make up the Avenue of Volcanoes of Ecuador. During the climb we will also pass over the Guargua Pichincha volcano. The highlight of the day will be the ascent to the summit of the 4,790 m Rucu Pichincha volcano, which we will reach by cable car and continue climbing to the summit. At the end of the day, dinner and hotel accommodation.
DAY 3: ROCK CLIMBING AT PITA CANYON
Today we will try climbing in nature! After breakfast, we will head to the Pita river canyon, one of the impressive areas of the Andean region, nestled between beautiful waterfalls and rich in special flora and fauna typical of the higher parts of this region. The highlight of the place is the pitta waterfall. A waterfall impresses with its beauty at a height of 60 meters. Around 55 rock climbing routes of varying difficulty levels can be found in the area, making it particularly loved by the global climbing community. There we will experiment with rock climbing, depending on our level of experience (no previous experience required). We'll climb up and secure each other. At the end of the day, return to the hotel for rest, dinner and accommodation.
Day 4: To the summit of the Rominiawi
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a short drive to the Cotopaxi National Park, to climb the Rumiñahui volcano, from whose summit we can observe the three impressive peaks, El Corazón, Illinizas and Cotopaxi. Today's altitude record 4,720 meters in addition is breathtaking.
Day 5: Illinces North, 5,216 metres
A significant day ahead! Today we will cross the 5,000-meter height bar. After a very early breakfast, we will take a steep climb, about 5 hours, to the summit of Illinizas North, at 5,216 meters. A fascinating and significant challenge, during which we will observe a crazy landscape of green lagoons and the surrounding snow-capped peaks.
Day 6: Spin Kilotoa, a volcano muzzle inside a lake
After breakfast we will head towards Baños. On the way we will stop at the Quilotoa Lagoon which is actually the muzzle of an off volcano, filled with clear blue water. Kilotea alone can be the main reason for visiting Ecuador. Our trip there, will be interspersed with beautiful agricultural areas and stunning views of the Andes. In Nios, we will have the opportunity to visit a local house and get to know the local population. Arriving at Kilotea, we will set off on foot trek around the crater, 3,800 meters high. At the end of the day we will continue our trip to Benius.
Day 7: Benios, a city of hot springs and adrenaline
Today we will embark on a cool Knyonig route in one of the beautiful streams in Benios, draining from the volcano that looms over the city. The route begins with a short walk up the creek, and surfing a number of cascading waterfalls. We will provide complete equipment for the benefit of the track, shoes for walking in the water, suits and of course harnesses, helmets and all the necessary safety equipment, including professional local staff. Activity will be until noon. After lunch we will proceed to the second action of the day: a canoe cruise up the Amazon section, followed by an activity in the jungle for which you need a headlamp and a good camera - turn on the imagination...
Day 8: Social gathering
After breakfast, we will go on a day that includes meeting with the Kechua tribesmen - Indians, prepare some food with them, drink a traditional drink, hang out with them and even dance. There will be sections. THE TRIBESMEN ARE THE ORIGINAL INHABITANTS OF ECUADOR, BEFORE THE ARRIVAL OF THE SPANISH AND SOME OF THEM PRESERVE ANCIENT TRADITIONS THAT ARE CENTURIES OLD.
Day 9: Hot springs and treats
Papallacta is home to hot thermal springs. The water is heated by the underground activity of the Antisna volcano. The series of ponds sits between the foothills of the Andes and the beginning of the Amazon region. Needless to say, the scenery around makes it special. This is our place to relax, you are free to decide whether you prefer to relax in the thermal baths or indulge in luxury spa treatments. Here we will spend our last day, heading to Quito in the evening. Accommodation in Quito.
Day 10: Coming home
After breakfast, free time in Quito according to the flight schedule. Transfer from the hotel to the airport and a flight back home.
