The Frozen Lakes Trek (Gosaikund), which runs through the Langtang Reserve, is one of the most spectacular routes in Nepal — stunning views of lush forest, mighty peaks and lakes. The culmination of the trek in beautiful lakes, at an altitude of over 4000 m, which leads to their freezing in the winter months until the end of spring. The trek runs along the length of the Langtang Range and during the route we also observe the summit of Mount Lirong, which is 7246 m high. On the trek, Laurbina Pass is crossed, at an altitude of 4610 m, with a breathtaking view of the lakes and the peaks above.
Day 1: Tel Aviv — Kathmandu
We will depart on a regular flight from Tel Aviv to Kathmandu, with a stopover. Transfer from the field in Kathmandu to an excellent hotel in the center of Kathmandu, next to Thamel, we will organize in the rooms, rest and freshen up, arrange the equipment for the trek and go out together for a joint dinner.
Day 2: Kathmandu — Chisopani
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a drive of about an hour to the village of Sondari Jal, which is located at 1400 meters altitude. On the way, we will stop for a short visit to one of the famous temples in the Kathmandu Valley — Budanath. We will continue to Sundarai Jal, from where we will start walking. Lunch on the way, at one of the teahouses. We will cross a peak at 2400 meters and descend to Chisopani at 2200 meters. In total about 14 km walk. Accommodation in the Gasthaus.
Day 3: Chisopani — Kotumsang
After breakfast we will take a walk from our village and continue our walk north. Today we will walk about 15 km, on a route that will cross Rom 2500 meters and descend to 2200 meters, to the small village of Kutumsang. Accommodation in the Gasthaus.
Day 4: Kotumsang —Tharpathi
Today we will cross the 3000 meter line, on a route that leaves Kotomsang, climbing most of the day, for about 14 kilometers, up to 3600 meters high, where Nalon Baghathaus in Tharepati village.
Day 5: Tharpti-Padi
After breakfast we will continue towards the culmination of our trek. On a winding route departing from the village of Tharpati and continuing up to the altitude of 3630 m in the village of Padi.
Day 6: Paddy— Gosaikund

Day 7: Gosaikund —Shandanbari
Begin to descend from the mountains, down the trek from Gosaikund, through the village to Urbina, the summit of Tokacha for observation, and finish in the village Chandanbari, at an altitude of 3430 meters.
Day 8: Shandanbari— Donnacha
Continuing to descend in height, you enter the tree line, from 3430 to 2000 meters high, to the central village of Doncha, which is located in the heart of the Langtang Reserve. A night at the Donnacha.
Day 9: Donnacha - Nwakot
After A. Morning at our hotel in Donnacha, we will go out with jeeps on the drive to the village of Nwakot. Here we will visit Venlon at the famous farmhouse, a very special place, different from what we have met so far in Nepal. We will take a guided tour of the surroundings of the village, with the possibility of an attraction in the form of an endless zipped-line that crosses the valley below us. And rest overnight in the famous farmhouse.
Day 10: Nwakot - Himalika
Breakfast at the farmhouse and from there a drive to Camp Himalica. There we will have lunch and go out for a few hours of cool river rafting. At the end, we will return with a short drive to our camp, to organize, rest and a delicious dinner.
Day 11: Himalika — Kathmandu
Late breakfast at the camp, and from there drive to our hotel in Kathmandu. Refreshment and rest in the rooms and a shared lunch in the Thamel, then free time until we meet for a dinner party together. After dinner, we will leave for the airport, for a flight to the country.
