Adventures in the Earth Thickener. Excursions are perfect for the summer.
Rappelling into a cave, swapping in a moment of the warm weather for cozy and cool. A fascinating tour of the cave, headlamps, snorkeling, a crazy underground world, going out on a walk, crawling or climbing out with the help of special equipment. An experience you won't forget.
The Salt Cave
Colonel's Cave is on Mount Sodom and is named after British Colonel Tullock, one of the founders of the potash factory. In this cave, the workers in the Dead Sea factories were rested from their work in the early years of the factory, due to the cool air flowing out of the cave. A circular hiking route, in which we will surf (rappelling) and wander through the Cave of the Dead, one of the most beautiful caves on Mount Sodom, in the south of the Judean Desert.
Departure months: May-November.
Angle Cave
A unique stalactite cave located in the Upper Galilee, above the Angular stream that spills into the Kaziv stream. ROPE SURFING TO A DEPTH OF 20 METERS WILL BRING US TO ANOTHER WORLD — A BEAUTIFUL AND SPECIAL STALACTITE CAVE. In the thickets of earth, in the light of headlamps, we will take an amazing tour inside an extraordinary cave filled with stalagmites, sentinels and unique animals such as bats and salamanders. Later we will meet an interesting challenge — climbing out of the cave using special equipment and learning how to use it.
Departure months: May-November.
Hotta 6
A cave located in the Peqi'in ridge in the Upper Galilee which is rich in hundreds of caves, a large part of them of the “kamin karsti” (Huta) type, that is, a cave structure with a vertical shaft. Surfing the different levels of the cave invites a spectacular westerly experience, alongside beautiful stalagmites descending from the ceiling of the first hall.
Departure months: May-November.
Arch Cave
AN UNUSUAL CAVE, LOCATED IN THE WESTERN GALILEE REGION, IN THE HEART OF ADAMIT PARK IN THE BETZET RESERVE. The cave, which was almost completely closed, underwent geological upheavals over time, which revealed its southern opening, the collapse ruptured its ceiling and created, in fact, a huge and spectacular rock arch suspended between sky and earth. At the top of the cave, in front of an impressive observation, which extends to the Mediterranean Sea and the Carmel Range, climb the ropes with a height of about 40 meters, into the cave and continue walking on the ridge in a beautiful, somewhat narrow and challenging section.
Departure months: All year round.
